How to wear the lace dress : let's go on fluo !!

Do you already have a white lace dress ? Like almost every summer it's trendy again, and you can wear it in almost infinity ways ! You can do it simple, romantic, rock, fun, etc ...

I've chosen not-too-expensive dresses : I don't think it is very useful to put a lot of money in a basic like this, it's more about accessorizing it. :-)

So now let's talk about how to accessorize it !

A first idea is to go on fluo.

It's -again- very trendy this summer, and you can re-use some of the stuffs you maybe have bought last year for the "color-block" trend.

I'm going to present you 3 main colours : blue, yellow and orange because they're my favourites.

For each colour I've selected a vest (a cheap one because it's harder to wear than shoes or bags when a trend is over), a belt, two bags : a clutch for evening and a day-bag.

And of course I've done a quite big shoes selection with different kind of shoes : evening, wedges, flats, ... So everyone can find something inspiring !!

As far as I'm concerned I think the best combining would be belt+shoes(+bag/clutch), or vest+shoes.

Stella Mc Cartney nude sandals !!

I was looking for nude sandals for this summer, and when I saw these amazing Stella Mc Cartney ones I couldn't resist !!

I ordered them on net-a-porter website more than a month ago, but I received them only last week because I live in a pedestrian road so DHL couldn't come ... Fortunately they're very professional, so despite my awful studies schedule they have found a way to deliver them !!!!

Unfortunately they don't fit me so I won't be able to show you outfits wearing them :-(

This is a quick post about my new babies, aka heels, from the french brand Tara Jarmon. 

Do you know this brand ? I'm not sure you can find it out of France like Sandro or Maje ... Anyway, if you don't know it (and can of course) you should definitely take a look at the collection !!

I was looking for nude heels for this summer (yeah, girls are always looking for THE kind of shoes that is not among the 50 pairs we already own ... isn't it ?) at first I didn't thought of pumps, but when I saw those I knew I had found the pair I was looking for. (Not sure I'm using the right tenses, sorry if I don't)

What do you think of them ?

Spring-summer shoes wish list

Yes I know, it's already the second shoes wish-list for this 2012 summer ... But I had warned you that I was a shoes and jackets  and lingerie addict !

Carnaval : the video

As I promised you, here is the video I did during the parade. Well in fact it's only a part of it, unfortunately most of it being too dark, noisy, blurred ... I was so sad I couldn't make it up ! 

Aren't they amazing ? It's totally incredible what they can do with those flags ! The colours of their costumes and flags are so bright !

The voice you hear is my mom's, she's explaining to me that they're training the whole year for this parade.

Totally different subject, but I wasn't going to do a post only for this remark.

Do you remember the Zara shoes that were in my spring wish-list ?

Lately I went to Zara and they had those shoes in my size so of course I tried them on ! 

But I was very disappointed : they were really painful !

The opened part of those shoes is exactly t the jonction between my nail and the rest of my feet, you know this tiny but so painful part of your foot ? I wasn't even able to stand up !

Sales : first part

Hi !

I don't have a lot of things to show you, but there is a good new : I'll go back home this sunday, so I will at last be able to take some pictures of my looks 'cause my only photographer is my sister ... That's one of the many bad sides of doing absolutely-not-artistics studies. I have sooooo many things to show you !

Well waiting for this week-end I took some pictures of the shoes and the bag I bought during the sales. They're not over yet, there's still a lot of things I want, and on top of that I'm only showing you the no-clothes part of my sales. But I think you will agree with this fact : shoes and bags can look good by themselves, but clothes must be wore otherwise they just look like an old floor cloth.

It looks like if I had GIANT legs and RIQUIQUI feet !!!

The bag is from Furla, a brand I'm really in love with because they can do incredibly smart bags and shoes, but they also can do some really colorful, pop things (like those in plastic, the candy bags do you remember them ?) 

The "lie de vin" (I think an english it's burgundy or something like that but I'm not sure ...) shoes are from Maje, the stained pointed toe makes the difference ! I was so happy they were still available in my size.

And finally the blue ones, from Zara, got them at the incredible price of 20 euros ! I couldn't resist. My size was the last one so I didn't hesitate for a second !

The heels are not too high 'cause I love comfty shoes : I spend my life on heels so I can't afford to have painful shoes. The Zara ones are really surprisingly comfty, I had some apprehension but now I'm going to buy more Zara shoes !
