Amsterdam, day two !

Bonjour !

Here we go for the post about our second day in Amsterdam ! (The first part was here and here)

So, we had walked along the canals the day before, and we decided to visit the two main museums : the van Gogh museum and the Rijskmuseum

 

This is ... the mall !! Isn't it absolutely magnificent ? Would you have guessed it was "only" a mall ?

We had a little break in the middle of the afternoon, before visiting the Rijskmuseum (photos were not allowed in the van Gogh museum, and I could'nt get a nice view of the façade so I'm sorry but I won't be able to show you pictures of this part of our trip)

 

I didn't knew that dolls houses were coming from the netherlands ! 

It was a miniature reconstruction of the house of it's -rich- owner, a way to show how great your house was without having to make a guided tour for your guest 

The meticulousness of the details is stunning !

And to end with a fashion touch : a Mondrian inspired dress from Yves Saint Laurent made to meausre for baroness Gabrielle van Zuylen van Nijevelt.
